    Dr. Bizzarrini Massimo
    Dr. Bizzarini Massimo - Specialist in Neurology

    He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua, specialized in Neurology and then obtained a second specialization in Clinical Neurophysiopathology, at the University of Genoa. After starting work at the same University of Padua first and the Hospital of Castelfranco later, from 1984 to 2017 he worked at the Neurology of the Civil Hospital of Venice, first as an assistant, then as an assistant and later with the position of Head Director of the Simple Departmental Unit of Neurorehabilitation and the Simple Unit of Clinical Neurophysiology. He has been active in study and research mainly in the field of clinical neurophysiology, movement disorders, and the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin; in particular, he has been conducting clinical research on the therapeutic efficacy of botulinum toxin in focal hyperhidrosis and on the behavior patterns of facial expressions in aesthetic applications of this drug for more than two decades.

    Dr. Paladin Francesco
    Dr. Paladin Francesco - Specialist in Neurology and Child Neuropsychiatry

    After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua, he first obtained his residency in Neurology at the University of Ferrara and then in Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Turin. In addition, in 2003, he obtained the Title of Epileptologist awarded by the European Academy of Epileptology. He also trained at both the Hopital de Saint Vincent de Paul in Paris and the Neurological Institute in New York.
    Former Director of the Neurology Operating Unit at the Civil Hospital of Venice, Dr. Paladin practices as a freelancer at different facilities in the same Venetian province.
    In particular, he focuses on epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, child neuropsychiatry, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and sleep disorders.
    In addition to being author of numerous publications and co-editor of three books, Dr. Paladin participates as a Speaker at numerous conferences and congresses in Italy and abroad.
    In parallel with his clinical work, he has taught at the Master’s Program in Epileptology at the University of Ferrara, at the University of Venice, and at the Epileptology Residential Courses for the International League Against Epilepsy.

    Dr. Ratti Pietro Luca

    Graduating from the University of Milan in 2003 with a degree in Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Ratti completed his residency in Neurology at the same university in 2008, after a nine-month internship at the Multidisciplinary Sleep Medicine Unit of the Hospital Clínic i Provincial de Barcelona (Spain).

    In the same year, he obtained the diploma of specialist in sleep disorders from the Italian Association of Sleep Medicine.

    After several work experiences in Italy – Hospital “Luigi Sacco”(Milan), Maggiore Hospital in Lodi, Neurological Institute “Casimiro Mondino” (Pavia), Neurological Institute “Carlo Besta” (Milan), Dr. Ratti has been working in the field of neuroscience for several years. Ratti obtained an international PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Toulouse (France) in 2014, devoting himself to the study of sleep disorders in Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases and working as a neurologist, expert in sleep disorders and assistant professor at the Clinical Pharmacology service of the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Toulouse.

    After a four-year stint as clinical head at the Center for Sleep Medicine and Epileptology at the Neurocentro della Svizzera Italiana of the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale, in Lugano, Switzerland, Dr. Ratti is working as the neurologist in charge of the Clinical Neurophysiology Unit at the University Hospital of Martinique, in Fort-de-France, French Antilles, focusing on sleep disorders and emergency epileptology.

    He landed in Venice in 2020 to offer his services during the Covid-19 emergency, serving at ULSS3 “Serenissima.” He currently works at the Neurology Operative Unit of the S.S. Giovanni e Paolo Hospital in Venice, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep and vigilance disorders.

    In addition, Dr. Ratti is a researcher at the Neurocentro della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, and is engaged in research on the relationship between sleep and movement in Parkinson’s disease, and on the development of new health technologies, in collaboration with several universities and international research groups.

    In his daily work as a neurologist and expert in sleep disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, Dr. Ratti puts his knowledge and experience at the service of the patient, setting an individualized course of treatment that is contextualized to each person’s daily life.
